A Benefit for the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area
2026 will mark our 4th annual Tats 4 Tails event!
Joel decided after losing his last dog Lokie it seemed like a good time to step up and give back to our community, and our four legged friends.
We teamed up with our local Humane Society and discovered they needed all sorts of supplies and help at our local shelter.
With more and more people moving to the New Braunfels area they are completely overwhelmed and running at full capacity almost all year long now.
Tats for Tails was created to help our local HSNBA shelter by bringing in money and much needed supplies during peak summer months.
This is a month long supply drive that culminates in a three day tattoo and pet adoption benefit event here at the tattoo shop.
We begin taking donations for pet carriers, food and cleaning supplies at the beginning of July and accept any of the items below all month.
Donations can be dropped off at the tattoo shop during business hours any time during the week Tuesday - Sunday between 12pm - 8pm
A percentage of shop profit from all three days goes directly to the humane society.
Times and dates shift from year to year and they will be announced on socials leading up to the event.

We are accepting these wish list items at the shop the whole month of July.
-Hard top cat carriers
-Unopened dog & cat food (wet or dry)
-Bleach, laundry detergent, Dawn dish soap, paper towels
-Cat litter & shallow pans
-Pet toys, collars, and leashes.
-Nylabones, KONGs, and other tough chew toys

Tattoo Benefit
Here’s what to expect for our tattoo and adoption event.
- Flash designs starting at $100, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area, Inc. You can choose from color, black, or just an outline. This price applies to arms and legs and may be adjusted for other placements.
-No changes to designs please, this is so the event runs smoothly and everyone can get tattooed
-“Happy Hour Tattoos” 100% of tattoo proceeds go to the HSNBA if you get tattooeed from 5pm - 7pm.
- Any design priced at $300 or more will result in a $100 donation to HSNBA.
- Custom tattoos or design alterations that do not meet the above criteria will be set as an appointment for a later date to keep the event running smoothly.
- We will have all the designs from previous years available to the public as well as new designs released the weekend of.
-Tattoo designs for benefit are displayed week of on social medias
- HSNBApets will be on site the days of the event with adoption pets that need their forever home! We will also be accepting any and all donations on site the weekend of.
-Doors at noon cut off for line is 8 PM
-Please feel free to bring water and snacks with you. Expect some wait time, it varies during the weekend but we tend to move the line along fairly quickly.
-Event is cash only! we have an ATM on site to make your life easier
